Marine platforms operate in high-salinity, high-humidity corrosive environments, imposing stringent requirements on hydraulic system corrosion resistance. After two years of intensive R&D, Chuangyuecheng Enterprise Technology Development Center has achieved a major breakthrough in corrosion protection technology for marine platform hydraulic systems.
1. Advanced Anti-Corrosion Coating Technology
The R&D team developed a multi-layer composite anti-corrosion coating system consisting of epoxy zinc-rich primer, polyurethane intermediate coat, and fluorocarbon topcoat. It passed salt spray testing for over 3000 hours, improving corrosion resistance by 3 times.
II. Upgrade of Sealing Materials
Equipped with specialized fluororubber seals offering excellent resistance to seawater corrosion, service life has been extended from 2 years to 5 years, significantly reducing maintenance costs.
III. Cathodic Protection System
Integrates sacrificial anode cathodic protection to effectively prevent electrochemical corrosion of hydraulic cylinders and pipelines, extending the overall service life of the equipment.
This technology has been successfully applied to the hydraulic lifting system of an offshore platform. The equipment operates reliably and has received high praise from the customer.
