Marine Equipment

Project Background

An offshore oil platform requires a personnel transfer system to transport crew between the platform and supply vessels. The system must operate reliably in harsh marine conditions characterized by high salt spray, humidity, and strong waves.

Technical Challenges

1. The marine environment is highly corrosive, requiring exceptional corrosion resistance for hydraulic components.

2. The lifting process must be smooth to ensure safety and comfort for all personnel.

3. High system reliability is required; failures may lead to severe consequences.

4. Long maintenance cycle requires long-life design.

Solution

Chuangyuecheng developed a specialized anti-corrosion hydraulic lifting system to meet the unique requirements of marine environments:

1. Preservative treatment: Features a multi-layer composite anti-corrosion coating system; withstands salt spray testing for over 3000 hours.

2. Seal Upgrade: Uses specialized fluororubber seals resistant to seawater corrosion, with a service life of 5 years or more.

3. Stable control: Uses a proportional valve combined with an accumulator for stepless speed control and smooth start-stop.

4. Security ProtectionEquipped with multiple safety devices, including overload protection, limit protection, and emergency descent.

5. Cathodic Protection: Integrates sacrificial anode cathodic protection to prevent electrochemical corrosion.

Technical Specifications

- Rated capacity: 2000kg (20 persons)

- Lifting height: 15m

- Lift speed: adjustable from 0 to 10 m/min

- System pressure: 16MPa

- Operating Temperature: -10°C ~ 50°C

Project Achievements

1. The system operates smoothly, ensuring a comfortable ride for passengers.

2. Excellent corrosion resistance; 3 years without corrosion failure.

3. Robust security protection with classification society certification.

4. Extended maintenance period to 2 years, reducing operational costs
